Space, Light and Color

Yesterday night, Washington National Cathedral visitors discovered yet another dimension of its beauty, spacious, ever changing and always new. In the middle of the Cathedral, where hundreds of chairs usually stand – glorious nothing. Only space, light and color.

An astonishing range of colors came and disappeared, and I stood there awe struck, naively wishing that a camera could capture change, transition from one color to another. I felt small and lifted up… And overwhelmed with gratitude as light and color intertwined and my little heart received an enormous gift of beauty.
